ShowCourt SMS opt-in evidence

ShowCourt is operated by ShowCourt LLC. These are unedited captures of the actual signed-in text preferences form on showcourt.dev, taken September 10, 2026 using a staging test account. The all-zero phone is test data, not a member's contact information.

This page documents the consent controls; it cannot enroll visitors. It is staging evidence, not confirmation of production deployment, carrier approval, or SMS activation.

How consent is collected

  1. The player signs in and verifies their phone. A login code does not subscribe them.
  2. The form offers two independent choices: promotional ShowCourt event invitations, and operational ShowCourt membership and event updates. Both are unchecked for a new subscriber; returning subscribers see their saved choices.
  3. The player reads each description, the full program terms, and policy links. They may choose either, both, or neither.
  4. “Save and continue” saves the choices. “Continue without subscribing” discards unsaved choices; it does not revoke existing subscriptions.

Players can also manage the same choices through Settings → Notifications → Texts using “Save text preferences”. Consent applies across their ShowCourt communities without changing membership or event eligibility. Account creation, membership, RSVP, and payment do not require optional SMS consent.
